In 1910, Frank Lloyd Wright and Berlin publisher Ernst Wasmuth produced a two-volume portfolio of 100 lithographs of Wrights buildings from 1893-1909, generally referred to as the Wasmuth Portfolio.Published in Germany with an accompanying text by Frank Lloyd Wright, the portfolio became a significant link between Wright's pioneering American architecture and a generation of modernist architects in Europe. This museum quality print of the Frederick C. Robie House, Chicago, Illinois 1889, is derived from Plate 37(a) in the original portfolio. Each print is individually handcrafted to stay true to its source, with such details as the embossed square with Wrights name, as well as the plate information. Makes a perfect gift for an architect or architecture aficionado. The print is wood framed and ready to hang. The framed dimensions are 25" x 15". To enlarge, click on image.
