The Native American sculptural figure "Nakoma" was originally designed for the Nakoma Country Club. Wright's original commission was to be built in Wisconsin, but it was never realized until the clubhouse was recently constructed by Taliesin Architects. The name Nakoma, a Chippewa Indian word, means "I do as I promise". The Nakoma sculpture is 24" tall. Although the weatherproof Nakoma is designed for outdoor placement, it would also be a striking addition to any room.
